How do cruise ships call at Belfast?+
Most Belfast cruise calls use Belfast Harbour / the cruise terminal area (berthing rather than a remote tender town). Exact berth and shuttle arrangements vary — follow your ship’s programme on the day. We do not invent fixed boarding queues.
Can I do Giant's Causeway and a full city tour in one day?+
Usually not in depth. The Causeway Coast needs substantial transfer time each way. Stacking a deep Titanic/city day on top of a full Causeway outing is the classic over-promise for a single call. Choose a primary story.
How long do I need for Giant's Causeway from the cruise port?+
Treat it as a long day — often around eight hours as a planning envelope once you allow road time, visitor time at the stones, and a conservative return buffer. Shorter published windows favour a Belfast city focus instead.
Are Game of Thrones sites worth adding?+
Only lightly, if at all. Filming-location stops can add road time. If the Causeway stones are your priority, protect that time first rather than inflating the circuit.
